When a Slitherlink board feels stuck, return to patterns instead of guessing.

  1. 0 or 2 at every point — the foundation of almost every deduction.
  2. Corner 1 / 2 / 3 — edges of the grid are constrained; corners even more so.
  3. Adjacent 3s — shared edges and the classic “S” wrap.
  4. 3 next to 0 — nearly fills the 3 automatically.
  5. Diagonal 3s — outer edges often fill even when the pearls don’t touch orthogonally.
